Corinne Goble | CEO

Corinne Goble joined the Association of Women’s Business Centers (AWBC) as CEO in January 2019, charged with enhancing sustainability and increasing capacity for the association and its members. Over the past several years, she has led AWBC through a period of significant growth and meaningful progress—expanding the national Women’s Business Center network to more than 150 centers across all 50 states.
Under her leadership, AWBC has grown to a team of four full-time staff and has distributed more than $1 million in sub-grants to Women’s Business Centers, directly supporting local innovation, capacity building, and service delivery. She has built a strong foundation of volunteer leadership, including a committed Board of Directors and active member-led committees focused on advocacy, membership, and fundraising.
A passionate advocate for women entrepreneurs, Goble played a key role in securing the passage of the Women’s Business Center Improvement Act of 2023, which modernized and strengthened the SBA’s WBC program—ensuring centers have the resources and structure they need to serve today’s entrepreneurs effectively.
In addition to her work with AWBC, she serves on a variety of collaborative initiatives that support small businesses in procurement, digital skills, access to capital, and international trade. She is a Founding Member of the USMCA Small and Medium Enterprise Counselor Network, a trilateral effort among Mexico, Canada, and the United States to help small businesses succeed through exports.
Goble’s leadership has earned her national recognition, including being named one of the 2025 100 Women to KNOW and one of The Most Influential Women to Watch in America by Enterprise World.
Originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan, she studied abroad in Spain and earned her BA in International Studies from the University of Evansville in Indiana, later attending graduate school at The George Washington University. She continues to pursue lifelong learning, including completing a Business Spanish Certificate from the University of Wisconsin. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking the Badlands of North Dakota, running along the C&O Canal in D.C. and Maryland, paddleboarding on sunny afternoons, and raising her two children, Reid and Adaliz, in Louisville, Kentucky to be entrepreneurs one day, too.
