AWBC and TikTok Shop Celebrate Veteran Entrepreneurs at Accelerator Graduation in Washington, D.C.

On March 4, 2026, the Association of Women’s Business Centers (AWBC) celebrated the graduation of eight veteran entrepreneurs from the TikTok Shop Veteran Business Accelerator during a special event held in the Presidential Suite at Union Station.

Offered in partnership with TikTok Shop, the accelerator program was designed to help veteran-owned businesses build their brands and expand their reach through social commerce. The program was delivered through AWBC’s veteran entrepreneurship platform, VeteranStartup.org, which connects veteran entrepreneurs with resources, training, and mentorship to support business growth.

Over the course of eight weeks, the cohort participated in virtual coaching sessions focused on scaling their businesses, strengthening their brand presence, and effectively leveraging TikTok Shop to reach new customers. The program combined hands-on training with expert guidance, equipping participants with the tools needed to succeed in the fast-growing digital marketplace.

The graduation event brought together entrepreneurs, partners, and supporters to recognize the achievements of the cohort and celebrate the continued growth of veteran-owned businesses across the United States. The event highlighted the power of innovation, community, and access to resources in helping veterans transition their leadership and service experience into thriving businesses.
