WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Association of Women’s Business Centers (AWBC) entered a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Women Enterprise Supporting Center (WESC) to provide expertise and to support female small and medium-sized companies in Korea and the United States who enter the local market.

By doing so, each party will share its networks with each other and develop and implement programs to strengthen exchanges and cooperation between organizations. In addition, AWBC and WESC will exchange information, technology trends, and jointly collect statistical data through separate consultations to develop support programs related to female enterprises and female subject matter experts (SMEs) in Korea and the United States.

“Bridging relationships with female entrepreneurs around the world allows more avenues for Women’s Business Centers to develop their expertise, and helps open new trade routes for women business owners,” says Corinne Goble, CEO of the Association of Women’s Business Centers.

The agreement took effect on 19 October, 2023 and will be executed for a period of three years. For more information and to learn more about AWBC, visit www.awbc.org.
